Question:
Licensing error: The license is insufficient for this version of CST Studio Suite
Answer:
- Ask the user for their Customer ID and Host ID (this will help to determine the site of the customer as well as their license file that they are using). This can be found within CST Studio Suite in the Home Tab->Macros->File->Get Customer-ID and Host-ID
- This issue is caused by the maintenance expiring which means that the user is not able to download the latest version of the software.
- Check the support end date on the license file that the customer is using, and ensure that the maintenance is up to date. The support end date on the license file is stated for each feature on the far left on the first line.
- If the support end dates of their most current license file and the error message do not match, ensure that the user is using the latest version of the license file (it is possible to resend the license keys to the user).
