Answer:
The MS Visual C++ runtime packages required for the CST 2022 version are:

PreReq1=Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x64).prq
PreReq2=Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x86).prq
PreReq3=Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable MFC Security Update KB2538243(x86).prq

The MS Visual C++ runtime packages required for the CST 2023 version are:

PreReq0=Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x64).prq
PreReq1=Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x86).prq

The same can be referred in the following file “Setup.ini” available with the CST Studio Suite installer. The MS Visual C++ runtime packages required for the CST studio Suite may change with the new versions. Therefore, it is good to visit the file “Setup.ini” in order to understand the required runtime packages.

CST installer checks for these libraries when one initiates the CST installation. If these libraries are already installed then CST skips this steps and use the existing libraries. And if these libraries are not installed then CST attempts to install these libraries. Figure 1 shows the message window that pops up when installing CST and these libraries are not installed:
