Customers may request license transfer to another machine for various situations. One of the situations is that the old computer server is no longer functional or decommissioned by the company due to upgrade.
This is not an official form generated by VIAS. The EMAG team had been using it to keep track of these license request and also to slow down certain customers who make frequent license rehost requests. The form includes the following information:
Target ID of the old computer
Target ID of the new computer
Reason for the license transfer
Name of the person requesting the license transfer
Job Title
Company Name
Signature and Date
The customer can type in the information directly and send back the filled out/signed form. This signed form can then be attached to Zoho CRM account page with a brief description. This helps to keep track of the history for all departments.
Once the support agent receives the signed form, the agent can send it to the appropriate sales ops agent and request the license transfer.
