DSLS computer ID extraction - Target ID generator
The Dassault Systemes License Server (DSLS) requires a computer ID or target ID of the computer on which the DSLS license key will be installed. For physical machines, there no special requirements, but for virtual machines, only Hyper-V virtual machine with TPM 2.0 is supported.
To get the computer ID of your computer, please follow the steps below(Windows OS shown first). Note that you can also follow the video tutorial here.
1. Download and extract the content of the zip file from the download link.
2. Then navigate to the extracted folder.
Double click on the Windows 64-bit folder
3. Open Command Prompt by searching for it in the Start menu.
4. Drag and drop the DSLicTarget.exe in the Command Prompt, then add " -t" at the end and press Enter.
5. The computer ID will be shown.
For Linux, please open the Terminal and change the directory to the location of the extracted executable, then type in DSLicTarget -t
The computer ID should be displayed like shown below.
