CST Studio Suite service pack (SP) update
For customers with active maintenance, software update will be available for download. Please navigate to https://software.3ds.com and log in with your DS passport credential. If you don't already have one, you can create one here. Once logged in, all licensed software will be available to you. What you see may look different to that shown in the following slides, but they should still provide guidance to get to the media.
Once logged in, all licensed software will be available to you. What you see may look different to that shown in the following slides, but they should still provide guidance to get to the media. Click on My Supported Software, then SIMULIA, then SIMULIA CST.
You should be able to see the latest service pack in the Level dropdown, download the latest one for the operating system you are using. This is for manual installation of the service pack.
Note that if you want to perform this update automatically, you can do so by accessing the CST Update Manager.
Go to Options, then change the Update model to Update from Internet (cst.com) then click OK.
Under the Home tab, click Check for Updates. You should see a dialog box if a new version is found.
Once the service pack is download, either automatically from the internet or manually from the media download site, the user can select the SP and then click Install. The green arrow should be pointing to the SP installed after.
