CST missing Messages window despite activating the quick access toolbar

Problem: CST GUI missing Messages window despite option is selected in the quick access toolbar.

Solution: Go to File --> Options --> Preferences

Under the Windows Settings section, click on "Reset Window Layout" and the Messages window should return.
