Additional supported Linux distribution for DSLS outside of RedHat and Suse
The officially supported Linux versions for DSLS are RedHat(8.6 or higher) and Suse per the official DSLS installer on the DS download site. We should stick with the officially supported OS when interfacing with customers but these cases here only serve as INTERNAL REFERENCES only since they are not officially supported. Please do not advertise them unless customers ask.
Based on internal testing, the following Linux distributions are known and confirmed to work when installing DSLS.
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
The following libraries were installed to make it work:
ksh
libjpeg
libstdc++6
libmotif
Another Linux OS tested was Linux Mint 20.3 Una, although the exact libraries installed were not documented.
